Major New Development at Wilden Industrial Estate
Wilden Industrial Estates Limited is pleased to announce that a Major New Development has started at their Wilden Lane, Stourport-on-Severn site.

Award winning contractors Thomas Vale Construction of Stourport-on-Severn successfully secured the £1,000,000 contract to build a prestigious new 21,000sq.ft. factory with two storey offices, which will be occupied by Polyplas Extrusions Limited when completed in February 2006
Polyplas Extrusions Limited was established by Helen and Graham Tidman in a 2,400 sq.ft. unit on Wilden Industrial Estate in 1989. Since then they have steadily grown and they now occupy five adjoining units with a total floor area of 15,000 sq.ft. The Directors of the company, which manufactures thermoplastic profile extrusions for a wide range of industries, have agreed terms for a 12 year Full Repairing Lease on the proposed new building, which Architects Tim Cooper Associates of Dudley, have designed specifically to suit their requirements.
Wilden Industrial Estate was established by Malcolm Lee and Harold Pearson when they acquired the former Wilden Iron and Tin Plate Works from Richard Thomas and Baldwins Ltd in 1964. This Showcase Development is just the latest phase of a long-term program of improvements, which have taken place since the Lee Family acquired full ownership of the Estate in 1984. Current Chairman Kelvin Lee has overseen an investment of £2,000,000 during the last eleven years in refurbishment of all existing buildings, new roads and car parks, improved drainage, new services and new industrial units.
Location
The estate and our industrial units are conveniently positioned in a pleasant, semi-rural location between Kidderminster, Stourport and Hartlebury. Being situated just over a mile from the A442/A449 Hoobrook Island near Kidderminster, it has easy access to the West Midlands and the Motorway network.

Our Estate Manager, Clive Fenton, is on site permanently during normal office hours to deal with any queries or problems. We also employ 'night time' security patrols for added security.
